For the last couple of years I’ve had a knitting project or two on the go at basically all times. Knitting is wonderfully relaxing and few things are as satisfying as finishing a piece, wearing it out in the cold and earning admiring comments for one’s handmade creations. I’d recommend taking up knitting to everyone – among other things, it does wonders for your mental health and its effects have been compared to those of yoga and meditation!
